自從在 1993 年推出了《超級瑪利歐兄弟》(Super Mario Bros) 真人電影版後，任天堂在電影產業中的發展就面臨了一段相當坎坷的道路，而那部電影一直到現在依然被許多粉絲視為「有史以來最爛的電玩改編電影」。而這樣的結果似乎就是導致任天堂在那之後全面停止將旗下 IP 電影翻拍版權授權給其他電影公司的關鍵因素。然而，這間公司最近似乎又打算重新試圖跨入電影產業，宣布他們將會正式收購日本動畫公司 Dynamo Pictures，並將其重新命名為「任天堂影業」。
就在任天堂重拾了對於將旗下 IP 改編成影視作品的興趣後，他們似乎也打算要開始安排更多類似《超級瑪利歐》動畫電影的其他相關計畫。而在進行這些計畫前的第一步，就是打造一間隸屬於任天堂麾下的「電影公司」，而接下來他們如果能夠順利收購 Dynamo Pictures 的話，那很有可能就可以順利完成這個重要的步驟。任天堂在本週宣布了他們將會收購這間日本電腦動畫公司的消息，而當這場交易於今年 10 月正式完成後，他們就會將這間公司重新定名為「任天堂影業」。在這之前，任天堂曾與 Dynamo Pictures 合作打造一系列的《皮克敏星球》動畫短片，此外，這間公司也曾經協助過任天堂開發 2010 年推出的《密特羅德：另一個 M》(Metroid Other M)。
除了與任天堂一同打造的作品之外，Dynamo Pictures 也曾協助過多部日本影視作品，其中包含了在今年 6 月於日本正式上映的《七龍珠超：超級英雄》(Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero) 動畫電影、推出於 Netflix 平台的《惡靈古堡：無盡闇黑》(Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness) 系列以及《Final Fantasy XV：王者之劍》動畫電影。
雖然「任天堂影業」的成立確實能夠幫助任天堂自行將更多旗下 IP 改編成影視作品，但這間公司擁有的技術在任天堂遊戲的開發上當然也能夠帶來不小的幫助，尤其是動畫方面的呈現。除了任天堂之外，許多大型遊戲發行商旗下都有一間專司電腦動畫的內部團隊，像是 Square Enix 旗下的 Image Studio Division 就幫助了他們打造《王國之心3》、《Final Fantasy VII重製版》以及《古墓奇兵》系列的動畫內容，同時還協助打造了《Final Fantasy XV：降臨神子》以及《Final Fantasy XV：王者之劍》等動畫電影。

【記者柯宗鑫報導】華碩宣布，旗下 ASUS VivoWatch，支援「心電圖應用軟體ECG APP（ASUS HealthConnect）」，已正式通過衛生福利部食品藥物管理署（TFDA）核准，取得醫療器材軟體認證（衛部醫器製字第007431號），成為台灣首款自行研發的健康穿戴心電圖應用軟體。目前華碩預定將從 7 月 27 日起，於 Google Play Store 及 Apple Store 線上商店釋出更新版本，陸續支援 VivoWatch 5、SP 等機種。
